About Us

Owners

After spending almost 4 years living overseas in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic as missionaries, God put a dream in my heart as we returned to the United States. The Alabaster Jar Collective comes from the account in the Bible where a woman broke open an expensive jar of perfume to wash Jesus feet in an extreme act of worship to God.  The hope of this boutique is that it too would be an expression of worship to God through our desire to provide a marketplace for artisans from around the world to display and sell their work.  We are intentional to pursue ministries and organization that seek to provide dignified work, fair wages, and improved living conditions for their artisans that also provide an avenue for them to know God and Worship God with their talents and abilities.

Location

Located in historic downtown Fremont in an early 1900's storefront. The Alabaster Jar Collective is a unique fair trade boutique that offers unique gifts from around the world that provide fair wages and dignified jobs for their artisans. We have an eclectic collection of baskets, jewelry, pottery and glassware, wood and metal art, textiles, and home decor items. Come, take a step into other cultures to see their craftsmanship. You may find something you can’t live without!!!
